Job stability and real opportunities for professional growth. #### **About the Backend Engineer (Java \& Spring Boot) Role** LUZA Group is looking for a **Backend Engineer (Java \& Spring Boot)** for a major freight transportation company in Spain. What will your responsibilities be? * Development of microservices and REST APIs (Java 17, Spring Boot 3\). * API-first design and OpenAPI contracts. * Persistence using JPA/Hibernate and PostgreSQL. * Continuous improvement: code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and code quality. * Architecture evolution (pragmatic hexagonal architecture) and integrations. * Coordination with business stakeholders and analysts to refine requirements. * Technical leadership from day-to-day execution. Requirements: * 8 years of software development experience, including 5 years in Java backend. * Solid experience developing production-ready REST APIs. * Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Maven, JPA/Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. * Experience in collaborative environments (Git, code reviews, CI/CD). * Knowledge of Docker, messaging/Kafka, and observability. * Strong technical judgment, with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
